This week’s brand spotlight is Girlactik! Galit Strugano was working as a makeup artist in Hollywood when the glitter craze hit the beauty industry. This week we’re highlighting the masters of highlight, Becca. Founded 16 years ago by makeup artist Rebecca Morrice Williams, the brand skyrocketed to success when Estee Lauder bought the company. From the beginning, the company has spread a very important message about inclusivity. They carry a full range of shades in most of their products. Williams was once quoted as saying: “[Retailers] must carry the full range. It’s a condition. Otherwise, if they don’t or are unwilling to, they can just go away. It has been very difficult. We say that unless you take all the colors, we don’t want to go with you.” Blushington is incredibly proud to be one of the brands that carry Becca, and their message of inclusivity is one we take to heart.
The Aqualuminous foundation is a tried and true favorite. This light-weight liquid foundation comes in 9 flexible shades suitable for any complexion. Blurring and smoothing any imperfections on the skin, it will provide light to medium coverage.
